Description
The client is an established Birmingham based Building Services Engineering Consultancy. They have a well established client base which includes a high proportion of repeat business from long term customers in the health, residential, education, commercial, industrial, health and leisure sectors.
Providing a full M&E design services from cradle to grave including the specification, design and management of all design services associated with HVAC services, including level 5 design and above. Providing specialist solutions to complex engineering and design challenges in the built environment, with a focus to sustainability.
With a healthy order book already secured the business is looking to the future with a key appointments – Intermediate Mechanical Design Engineer with 3-5 yrs commercial experience. The appointments will further enhance the companies strength and depth across their core engineering disciplines, as well as in return offer a tailored mentoring programme for an aspiring Design Engineer looking for progression and a long – term career in Building Services Design.
Ideally, you will be qualified to a minimum of ONC level (Building Services, Mechanical) with genuine experience in a Building Services environment designing a variety of refurbishment and new build schemes. This experience would ideally be within a Consulting Engineering environment, however our client is also happy to meet with Design Engineers who have worked for M&E Design & Build Contractors or Public Sector Institutions. It would be expected that interested parties will have already grasped the basic principles of HVAC (heating, ventilation, air conditioning) and be up to date with industry standard software such as AutoCAD and Hevacomp.
HNC or above and further training and education will be provided
